Thousand Oaks Townhouse Association

On Tuesday January the 10th at 7pm at The McCoart Building board chambers there will be a meeting to give the local residents an opportunity to voice their support or opposition to the Oaks III proposed development on the corner of Old Bridge Rd and Tanyard Hill Rd.

Mr. Ken Thompson is proposing a third building to mimic the current structures on the corner of Old Bridge and Clipper Drive (Oaks I & II) This third building would be on the corner of Old Bridge and Tanyard Hill with a one way into the project from Old Bridge between Tanyard Hill and Clipper Drive and then funneling out onto Tanyard Hill Road to either go down into the town or stage in line to get back out onto Old Bridge to either go east or west.

There have been concerns voiced about the impact to heavy traffic issues already on Old Bridge as well as the impact to the Town Of Occoquan and their residents. This is an opportunity to ask questions and get answers from the Supervisors who support or oppose this project as well as county staff and the developer who is proposing this project.

We look forward to the residents showing up and letting the Supervisors know how you feel about the project and if you should have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call or e-mail Supervisor May or myself.
